Ponte Perro
Ponte Perro is the stage name of Argentine singer and RKT artist Mario Emmanuel
De Los Santos, who was born in the late 1990s in the working-class neighborhood
of Santa Isabel in Mariano Acosta and grew up between there and Ituzaingó in the
western outskirts of Buenos Aires, where he first connected with music while
working as a barber and cutting hair for local artists such as L-Gante. After a
fire destroyed the house he shared with his partner and children in Merlo, he
decided to pursue music full-time, turning to the cumbia-inflected RKT sound
that reflected his own barrio exp...
