Poni Hoax
Originally known as Le Crépuscule, the four-piece electronica band Poni Hoax
formed in 2001 in Paris, France. Keyboardist Laurent Bardainne, guitarist
Nicolas Villebrun, bassist Arnaud Roulin, and drummer Vincent Taeger met as
college students at the Conservatoire National de Musique, then formed Poni Hoax
with French-Cambodian vocalist Nicolas Ker following their graduation. Mixing
electro, disco, and British rock influences into a chic, sophisticated sound,
the group released the Budapest EP in 2005 and returned in 2006 with a
