Pomplamoose
The Californian husband-and-wife indie-pop duo known as Pomplamoose comprises
former Stanford students and multi-instrumentalists Jack Conte (born on 12 July
1984 in San Francisco)—who is also the CEO of Patreon—and Nataly Dawn (born on
29 October 1986 in Sacramento). After forming in 2008 at the beginning of the
YouTube-powered Internet video revolution, they made their name through sharing
viral videos on Myspace and YouTube and covers of well-known songs, which they
described as "videosongs." Their debut self-titled album arrived in 2009 with
follow-up Tribute to Famous People...
