Point Blank
Point Blank was an American rock band from Irving, Texas. Formed in 1974, the
group consisted of Rusty Burns and Kim Davis on guitar, Phillip Petty on bass,
John O'Daniel on vocals, and Richard Heaton on drums. The band's initial
breakthrough came with their debut album Point Blank, released in November 1976.
Point Blank was discovered and managed by Bill Ham’s Lone Wolf Productions,
which also managed ZZ Top and Eric Johnson. The band recorded six albums between
