Planet Funk
Planet Funk is an Italian electronic/rock band formed in 1999 by keyboardists
Marco Baroni and Alex Neri, bassist Sergio Della Monica and guitarist Domenico
Canu. It also includes, as required, vocalists such as Dan Black, Sally Doherty,
Raiz and John Graham. In 2001, the band made a name for themselves with "Chase
the Sun", their biggest hit, charting at No. 5 in the UK with a melody borrowed
from Ennio Morricone. The song, which became the theme tune for a Sky Sports TV
