Pile is an American indie rock band originating from Boston, Massachusetts.
Formed in 2005 as a solo project by Rick Maguire, Pile transitioned into a
collective with the release of Magic Isn't Real in 2010. The band's debut album,
Demonstration, was released in 2007, followed by Jerk Routine in 2009. In 2011,
Pile signed with Exploding in Sound and released their third studio album,
