Piero Milesi, born on January 28, 1953, in Milan, Italy, was a musician,
composer, and arranger. He began his career studying cello, composition, and
experimental electronic music. In 1977, he joined the International Folk Group
of Moni Ovadia as both a performer and composer. His breakthrough came with the
two-part composition "Modi", published by Cherry Red Records in 1982. Notable
works include The Nuclear Observatory of Mr. Nanof and Camera Astratta, both
