Pierdavide Carone, born on June 30, 1988, in Rome, is an Italian
singer-songwriter. He gained initial recognition as a contestant on the ninth
edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi, finishing third and winning the critics
award. Following his success on the show, he signed with Sony Music
Entertainment and released his debut album, Una Canzone Pop (2010). His first
single, "Di Notte", reached Number 1 in Italy. Carone also wrote "Per tutte le
volte che..." for Valerio Scanu, who won the Sanremo Festival 2010 with it. He
