The Piccolo Coro Dell'Antoniano, an Italian children's choir from Bologna, was
founded in 1963 by Mariele Ventre at the Antoniano Institute. The choir
initially formed to participate in the Zecchino d'Oro festival, which began five
years earlier. Under Ventre’s leadership, the group quickly expanded from a few
members to approximately 80 children. In 1995, following Ventre's death, Sabrina
Simoni took over as director and renamed the choir Piccolo Coro "Mariele Ventre"
dell'Antoniano in honor of its founder. In 2003, the choir members were
