Actor, composer and singer Philippe Kelly, born in Versailles on November 10,
1963, made his name on the silver screen with his role in La Boum 2 (1982). He
went on to write songs for Liane Foly and Princess Erika, and released his first
album, Assez Parlé, in 1993. The following year, his participation in the Classe
mannequin series was accompanied by the success of his theme song, "Essaye
