Philipp Poisel
German musician Philipp Poisel was born on June 18, 1983 in Ludwigsburg and
began playing guitar and drums as a child. After his first demo recordings with
producer Frank Pilsl, Poisel came to the attention of famous German singer
Herbert Grönemeyer in 2007, who signed him to his record label Grönland the
following year. The debut album Wo fängt dein Himmel an? was released in summer
2008 and reached 37th place in the charts in Germany. In the course of the same
year, the musician performed as a supporting act for Herbert Grönemeyer, Maria
