Phil Stacey
Joel Philip Stacey is an American singer born on January 21, 1978, in Harlan
County, Kentucky. He began singing in church and later served as the lead
vocalist for the Navy Band Southeast after joining the U.S. Navy in 2001. In
2006, he served as the music minister for the First Coast Christian Center in
Jacksonville, Florida. Stacey reached wider visibility in 2007 as a finalist on
the sixth season of the television program American Idol, where he reached the
