Phạm Phi Nhung, born April 10, 1970, in Pleiku, South Vietnam, was a
Vietnamese-American singer specializing in Dan Ca and Tru Tinh music. After
completing 6th grade, she became the primary caregiver for 5 siblings when her
mother died in 1982, before emigrating to the United States in 1989. She settled
first in Tampa, Florida, and moved to Orange County, California, in 1993, where
she debuted on stage and gained recognition with a duet on “Que River 1” with
Thái Châu, leading to her first CD with Huyên Vũ Tuấn. Returning to Vietnam in
