Peter Wells
Peter William "Pete" Wells, born December 31, 1946, in Brisbane, Queensland,
Australia, was an Australian hard rock musician, best known as the founder and
slide guitarist of Rose Tattoo. He previously played bass with pioneering heavy
rock band Buffalo from 1971 to 1976, appearing on four studio albums. Wells
formed Rose Tattoo in 1976, helping shape its blues-influenced hard rock sound
and co-writing at least 17 songs, including "One of the Boys." After leaving the
band in 1983, he played in several groups and developed a solo career, releasing
