Peter Hinnen, born Peter Hinnen on 19 September 1941 in Zürich, Switzerland, was
a Swiss yodeller and singer known for his contributions to pop and schlager
music. He began his career as a yodeller, but his breakthrough came when he was
discovered by the Schmid siblings, who introduced him to composer Artur Beul.
Artur Beul wrote "Goal" for him, leading to a record deal with Polydor. Peter
