Peter Hammill
A founding member of the progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator,
guitarist and keyboardist Peter Hammill (b. 1948) is simultaneously paving the
way for a personal and innovative career, highly diverse in its musical
approach. Since Fool's Mate (1971), the songwriter has left his mark with the
albums Chameleon in the Shadow of the Night (1973), Nadir's Big Chance (1975,
