Peter Guidi

Piero Francesco Guidi, known professionally as Peter Guidi, born September 14, 1949, in Glasgow, Scotland, and died April 17, 2018, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, was a Scottish-born jazz saxophonist and flutist of Italian descent. He was a self-taught musician on flute, alto and bass flute, as well as alto and soprano saxophones. He began his career in Italy, performing with leading jazz musicians and appearing at festivals such as Umbria, Aosta, Pescara, and Padova.
