Pete was an American post‑grunge and alternative metal band from New Jersey. In
the mid‑1990s, they toured the United States, performing in cities such as
Detroit, Toledo, and Iowa City. A demo tape earned them a Warner Bros. contract,
and their album Pete was released in 2001, produced by Ross Hogarth and Jason
Slater. The single "Sweet Daze" reached number 17 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock
chart and number 14 on Active Rock. The group disbanded before 2005. In 2005,
