Pepe Jara
José Jesús Jara Martínez, known as Pepe Jara or El Trovador Solitario, and born
on December 25, 1928, in Ciudad Madero, Mexico, was a bolero singer. As a
singer, he began his career by moving to Chihuahua at a young age and later to
Mexico City in 1947. In the 1950s, Jara joined various tríos, including Los
Pepes and Los Duendes. From 1964 to 1967, he formed the Dueto Miseria with
Gilberto "El Sahuaripa" Valenzuela, releasing several albums and achieving
success with songs like "Declárate inocente" and "No me amenaces". Jara later
