Born in 1978 in Saint-Basile-de-Portneuf (Canada), Philippe Proulx, aka Pépé et
sa guitare, is a Quebec folk singer. He began making music and performing in
public in the 2000s, with his group Flying Vomit. In 2002, he took part in the
finals of Cégep en spectacle. The following year, he won the audience and jury
prizes at the Petite-Vallée song festival. The same year, he launched his
self-titled album. Two of his songs, " Ostie qu't'é laid " and " Y fait beau ",
were picked up by Quebec rock stations. In April 2005, he released his second
opus, Fakek'choz , with the song " Toué...
