Julius Frank Anthony Kuczynski, known professionally as Pee Wee King, and born on February 18, 1914, in Abrams, Wisconsin, was a country music songwriter and recording artist. He learned to play the accordion from his father, a professional polka musician. In the 1930s, King toured and made cowboy movies with Gene Autry. He joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1937 and became known for co-writing "Tennessee Waltz" with Redd Stewart in 1946, which became a country music standard after Patti Page's version.
