Paz Lenchantin, born December 12, 1973, in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires Province,
Argentina, is an Argentine-American musician known for her roles as a bass
player, singer, and violinist. She began playing piano at age five, took up the
violin at eight, and taught herself guitar by twelve. Lenchantin's breakthrough
came with her involvement in A Perfect Circle, contributing to Mer de Noms
(2000) and Thirteenth Step (2003). She later joined Zwan and collaborated on
