Paul Roland
Paul Roland, born September 6, 1959 in Kent, England, is a British
singer-songwriter known for his storytelling approach to music. Influenced by
authors such as H.G Wells and Edgar Allan Poe, Roland began his musical journey
with "Oscar Automobile" (1979). His music often explored historical figures and
literary characters. His debut album The Werewolf of London followed in 1980.
His 1987 albm Danse Macabre received critical acclaim. After a hiatus from 1997
to 2004, Roland resumed his career with Pavane (2004), Nevermore (2008), Grimm
(2011), and White Zombie (2016).
