Paul Pena
Paul Pena, born on January 26, 1950, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, was a
singer-songwriter and guitarist. He attended the Perkins School for the Blind
from age five and later graduated from Clark University. In February 1969, Paul
Pena's band played at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, opening for Frank
Zappa and the Grateful Dead. His debut album, Paul Pena, was released in 1972 to
critical acclaim but little commercial success. The song "Jet Airliner" from his
second album, New Train, which was recorded in 1973 but not released until 2000,
