Paul C. McKasty, known as Paul C, was an American East Coast hip hop pioneer,
producer, engineer, and mixer in the 1980s, born on September 20, 1964, in New
York. He began his musical journey as a bassist for the pop-rock band
Mandolindley Road Show, which released its self-titled album The Mandolindley
Road Show in 1985. After the group disbanded, Paul C started producing beats
