Pascale Borel
Pascale Borel, born July 16, 1958 in Bordeaux, France, is a French singer. She
started her career as a backing vocalist with Lala et les Émotions before
forming the duo Mikado with Grégori Czerkinsky in 1982. As Mikado, Borel
interpreted lyrics while Czerkinsky composed and arranged their music. Their
first single, "Naufrage en hiver" ("Shipwreck in Winter"), was released in 1986,
followed by "La fille du soleil" ("The Girl of the Sun") in 1988. The duo
disbanded in 1991. Borel then joined the electro-pop group Bien from 1996 to
