Parachute Band
Parachute Band was a Christian worship band from Auckland, New Zealand, formed
in 1995 out of Parachute Music. The original lineup released seven studio
albums, including You Alone (1997) and Always and Forever (1998), and won
numerous New Zealand Music Awards for Best Gospel/Christian Album. In 2006, the
original members retired, leading to a generational changeover marked by a
ceremony at the 2007 Parachute Festival. The second generation lineup released
four studio albums including Roadmaps and Revelations (2007) and Technicolor
