Reuben Nero, who was born on October 17, 1974, is a Trinidad and Tobago-born rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer better known by the stage name Papa Reu. He moved to Houston, Texas, at age 16 and became a part of the local hip-hop scene. He worked as a collaborator with 8Ball & MJG on their album On the Outside Looking In (1994) and was a member of Cash Money Records, performing on tracks for Lil Wayne and Juvenile.
