Panjabi Hit Squad is a British DJ, producer, and radio broadcaster team from
London, England. They began a broadcasting career on BBC 1Xtra in 2002,
initially hosting the Desi Beats show, which later moved to BBC Asian Network.
Their first album, The Album (2001), was released under Indiasound/Tiger. They
gained recognition with subsequent albums, including The Streets (2002) and Desi
Beats Vol. 1 (2003), the latter of which was released under Def Jam UK. They
produced two albums for Ms Scandalous, Ladies First and Aag. They won the UK
Asian Music Awards three times, in 2003, 200...
