Fábio José de Melo Silva (April 3, 1971), better known as Padre Fábio de Melo,
is a Brazilian Catholic priest, singer, author, and TV host. Throughout his
career, he has published several books and recorded over a dozen albums, much of
which have obtained gold and platinum certification in his native country. He is
also a university professor and taught theology at the Dehonian College of
Taubaté, in the interior of São Paulo. Born in Formiga in the state of Minas
Gerais, Padre Fábio de Melo made his official debut in 1997 with the album De
Deus um cantador, followed by Saudades ...
