Po! was an indie rock band formed in Leicester, England in 1987 and initially
consisted of Ruth Miller on vocals and guitar, Julian Glover on bass, and Mark
Fuccio on drums. Their first release, the flexidisc "Hopscotch in the Snow",
gained attention from BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel. Po! released their debut album
Little Stones in 1989 under their own label, Rutland Records. The band recorded
sessions for BBC West Midlands and Radio Leicester, as well as a Peel session in
1994. Subsequent releases include the albums Not Marked on the Ordnance Map
(1996), and Past Perfect Tense (1997...
