Oxlade is a Nigerian artist celebrated internationally for his rhythmic
combination of Afro-fusion, pop, and R&B. He was born Ikuforiji Olaitan
Abdulrahman on 22 April 1997, in Surulere, Lagos. "Away," his debut single, was
released in 2020 and became a critically acclaimed track worldwide, with
multiple publications listing the song as one of the year's best tracks. In
Nigeria, "Away" was also a genuine hit, reaching number 23 on the Nigerian
