Owen Paul McGee, known professionally as Owen Paul, was born on May 1, 1962, in
Glasgow, Scotland. As a youngster, he decided to pursue a career in music after
hearing the Sex Pistols and played with Glasgow band Venigmas in the early
1980s. His breakthrough came in 1986 with the release of his hit single "My
Favourite Waste of Time", which reached Number 3 on the UK charts. He had a
