Overground
The German boy band Overground formed on the 2003 televised talent show Popstars
– Das Duell, in which two different pop groups competed against each other.
Consisting of singers Akay Kayed, Ken Miyao, Marq Porciuncula, Meiko Reißmann,
and Fabrizio Levita, the group made its debut with a remake of Color Me Badd’s
“I Wanna Sex You Up” and won the show’s finale after beating their female
counterparts Preluders in the popular vote. Their studio debut It’s Done saw the
light later that year and shot straight to the top of the charts in Germany and
