An exceptional group created and subsidized by the French Ministry of Culture,
the Orchestre National de Jazz (ONJ) has succeeded in imposing its initially
controversial image on successive conductors since 1986, thanks to the quality
of its eclectic projects. Under the direction of double bassist Daniel Yvinec,
the ONJ released the album Around Robert Wyatt in 2009, followed by Shut Up and
