Michihiko Ohta, born in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, on November 23, 1964, is a
Japanese composer, arranger, keyboardist, and singer-songwriter. After debuting
in 1983 as a member of the rock band Crisis, Ohta released his solo debut
single, “Sayonara Illusion”, and debut studio album, STARTING OVER, in 1988
before focusing on composing and arranging for anime series and popular artists.
He composed anime soundtracks including Captain Tsubasa J in 1994 and Cooking
Master Boy (Chūka Ichiban!) in 1997. Ohta composed three of the four opening
theme songs for the Digimon anime franchise...
