Olson
Oliver Groos (born January 26, 1987 in Neuss) is a German rapper and singer who
is active under his stage name Olson. He grew up in Kaarst near Düsseldorf,
where he first attended the Georg Büchner Grammar School, later a secondary
school, and decided to study after completing his A-levels - which he soon
abandoned in favor of music. His musical beginnings began with guitar lessons,
but it was the influence of Wu-Tang Clan and Kool Savas that turned him towards
rap. In 2008, he released the demo tape Rudeboy as Olson Rough - ten tracks,
