Oliver Gottwald
Oliver Gottwald, born September 27, 1978, in Schwabmünchen, Germany, is an indie
pop singer, guitarist, and songwriter. After winning the Augsburg
Nachwuchswettbewerb “Band des Jahres” in 2000 with Anajo, the band released EPs
and signed with Tapete Records in 2004, issuing four albums that charted in
Germany and Austria. Gottwald gained attention in 2007 when he represented
Bavaria at the Bundesvision Song Contest with Anajo, performing the duet “Wenn
du nur wüsstest” with Suzie Kerstgens and finishing in 9th place. Following
