Originally from Cameroon, Oléma discovered music on television, lulled by
Californian folk, French variété, makossa and bensikin. At the age of 15, she
taught herself guitar, inspired by John Mayer and Colbie Caillat, and began
composing her own songs. She moved to France, passing through Troyes and
Marseille, then Paris, where she studied guitar and music production at the W.A.
Mozart Conservatory. Under the guidance of Blick Bassy, she found her voice in
