Obscurity
Obscurity is a German extreme metal band from Velbert. Formed in 1997 by Agalaz,
Arganar, Nezrac, Dornaz and Ziu, the group’s musical style incorporates elements
of melodic death metal, black metal and Viking metal. The ensemble is known for
its identification with the Bergisches Land and uses the Bergisch Lion as a
recurring heraldic emblem on its releases. The band released its debut studio
album, Bergisch Land, in 2000. Their recording history also featured the studio
albums Thurisaz (2003) and Schlachten & Legenden (2007), the latter recording
