Nuttin' But Stringz
Nuttin' But Stringz, also known as N.B.S., was a duo consisting of Tourie and
Damien Escobar, both violinists from Jamaica, Queens. They began studying violin
at young ages and eventually attended the Juilliard School. In 2005, they won a
talent competition at the Apollo Theatre in New York, leading to appearances on
major talk shows. Their debut album, Struggle from the Subway to the Charts, was
released in 2006 on Koch Records. Notable songs include "Thunder", which was
