Sylvie N'Doumbé, known professionally as Norma Ray, was born on March 21, 1970,
in Saint-Étienne, France. She is a singer-songwriter who began her musical
journey at the age of ten, composing her first melodies on the guitar. After
studying at the American School Of Music Modern in Paris and graduating in 1992,
Ray started her career with the single "If It's Love" and contributed as a
choriste to Julien Clerc’s Utile. In 1994, she voiced several songs for Walt
Disney Pictures’ animated film The Lion King and released multiple singles
including "Crazy About You" and "I Need Love"....
