Nina Vera Suárez, known professionally as Nina Suárez, was born in 2001 in
Buenos Aires, Argentina, and grew up in the Parque Chacabuco neighborhood. The
daughter of Argentine indie musicians Rosario Bléfari and Fabio Suárez, she was
exposed early to guitar, songwriting, film, and theater, and also worked as an
actress, appearing in films such as La idea de un lago, Arpón, Planta
permanente, and Implosión, for which she won the Cóndor de Plata for Female
