Nikos Gounaris, born on March 3, 1915, in Greece, was a tenor known for his
contributions to light music. He began playing the mandolin at age four and
later attended the Athens Conservatoire. Gounaris gained prominence as a light
music singer in the 1950s, with hit songs including "Ena vradi pou 'vrehe" and
"Glikia mou matia agapimena". His repertoire often explored themes of love and
