Niki Chow Lai-ki, born 周麗淇 on August 30, 1979 in Hong Kong, is a singer and
actress. She began her career as a model at the age of 17 after being discovered
by an agent. Chow's school life ended when she was spotted by an agent who
offered her a modeling opportunity. This was the beginning of her life as an
artist. Several years later, she transitioned into acting, working primarily
with TVB. Her breakthrough role came in 2005 with The Gentle Crackdown, for
which she won the Most Improved Actress award at the TVB Anniversary Awards.
