Nightmares on Wax
Originally a trio formed in 1988 with DJs John Halnon and Kevin Harper,
Nightmares on Wax is now a project led by its creator, English producer George
Evelyn, also known as DJ E.A.S.E. Born in Leeds on January 15, 1970, his passion
for soul, hip-hop and electro led him to form The Soul City Rockers collective,
which welcomed John Halnon and then Kevin Harper. The trio, signed to Warp
Records, recorded several tracks before releasing their first album, A Word of
