Nichole Nordeman
Nichole Ellyse Nordeman, born on January 3, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, is an
American singer and songwriter known for her contributions to Contemporary
Christian Music. Raised in Colorado Springs, she began playing piano in church.
Her breakthrough came when she participated in the Gospel Music Association
contest in Los Angeles. Nordeman released her debut album Wide Eyed in 1998,
followed by This Mystery in 2000 and Woven & Spun in 2002. She has won multiple
GMA Dove Awards, including Vocalist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in
