Ng KiPin
Ng Ki‑pin, born 10 September 1990 in Taipei, is a Taiwanese singer, keyboardist,
and composer. He studied piano and erhu before co‑founding the Hokkien indie
rock band EggPlantEgg in 2012. The group’s 2013 EP 猶原佇這 led to a 2017 album
Cartoon Character, which won Best Taiwanese Album and Best New Artist at the
Golden Melody Awards. Subsequent releases, including We Are Gonna Get Married
(2020) and the single "浪流連", earned further Golden Melody nominations;
"愛情你比我想的閣較偉大" won Song of the Year in 2023. EggPlantEgg entered indefinite
