New Years Day
New Years Day's mix of punk-pop and gothic, dramatic alt-rock began taking shape
in 2005, when the group formed in Anaheim, California. Bassist Adam Lohrbach,
singer Ashley Costello, and guitarist/keyboardist Keith Drover were the group's
original members, although the lineup had already begun to shift by the time New
Years Day released its debut single, "Ready Aim Misfire," in 2006. The song
reappeared one year later on My Dear, the band's first full-length release. My
