Singer / rapper Nemo is best known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in
2024 with the song "The Code.” Born Nemo Mettler in Biel in the canton of Berne,
Switzerland, on August 3, 1999, they learned piano, violin and drums as a child
and then made their debut in 2012 in the musical Ich war noch niemals in New
York, before taking part in Die grössten Schweizer talente (2015). That same
year, their debut EP Clownfisch reached #95 in the Swiss charts, while the
following EP, Mömant-Kids (2016), was home to the track "Himalaya" (number 27).
